I think our time difference is around 12 to 13 hours...anyway, when I posted that, it was around 10PM, my time.
Now, going back to our topic, what is our topic in the first place??? hehehehe...
Oh yeah, MD being a good son and financial status...whatever his work was in the past, it is all water under the bridge...he is now a famous actor...well, to our standard...
People who knows how to pay and give respects to their elders are really blessed. And I am delighted that he even taught QE to be a respectful and obedient daughter... |

white you are probably right, it is more like 13 hours difference. MD earns the money and his honey, hopefully QE , will makes use of this as the household manager. I think it is because of his upbringing and his sensitive nature. QE learned by just being a bit more mature, and by being around MD, remember she was around when MD's mom had that bad accident. I think older children think about this when parents are in bad health or meet with accident. I am very lucky to still have both parents over 80. |

Good for you!!! But I find asians in the west lives longer...here in Asia, you will seldom find people in theirs 80s who are still healthy unlike in the States...maybe due to the environment???
One thing for sure, asians know how to treasure their elders...you do not have to live with them but you still give the respect and care due them...look at MD...but I think he should teach QE more about love and caring not just to the opposite sex but also to family members. |

| yeah, i am lucky, but it is hard not philosphically, but economically to be filial in the West, cost of living being so high. Ming is a quiet person generally, but i guess with QE he is a chatter box LOL maybe he's the one "nagging " her about various things, including family, and pleading his case as a suitor LOL If he continues his career reflected in this year, he will be ok financially. I remember along time ago, somewhere, it was predicted MD would marry by/before 2011. So all will know soon enough |

About Ming Dao
Ming Dao began his career in the industry of entertainment as a model. Later on he gained the opportunity to be the host of a travelogue show called Mao Xian Wang (The King Of Adventure) and helped SETI (San Li) TV Channel win an award for Best Host. Later he was signed up by Jungiery. He then starred in various music videos by popular Taiwanese artists. In 2004, he took the role of a supporting actor in the series La robe de Mariee des cieux. Most people from Taiwan as well as mainland China recognize Ming Dao from the hit series The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog as Shan Jun Hao. The series beat the all time record of Meteor Garden during its broadcast in Taiwan and is currently holding the highest rating of all time in Taiwan's history.
With the fellow members of his band 183 Club, he later starred in another drama series named Ai Qing Mo Fa Shi (The Magicians of Love). As of now, he has finished shooting two upcoming dramas called Xing Ping Guo Le Yuan (Legend of Star Apple) and [color=indigo]Tian Shi Qing Ren (Angel Lover). His band 183 Club's music can be heard in the The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog OST and The Magicians of Love OST. Their debut album was released on August 4th of 2006 with the theme song "One Umbrella", or "Yi Ba San". (The same pronunciation of 183 in Mandarin Chinese).

what is the MHTT, you are talking about? also, what doe it stand for.

it stands for Mian Huang Tian Tang, or Modern Youth or Dreams Paradise. it all the same drama. this was MD's 1st China drama. It is out on DVD now. You can catch a few episodes on Youtube under Dreams Paradise, but no eng subtitles I'm afraid. the dvd does not have eng subs either... |

The temperament of a Prince Charming
According to the blogger, mingdao will appear in the December issue of a magazine 魅力先生 (Mr. Charming).
The tagline would be : MingDao exclusive interview with fashion media and entertainment magazine listed as "Mr. 'unlimited' Charming".
The blogger also let on that Mingdao will officially start filming his drama today.

PS : starrei - yes SLIM is THIN but still they are two different words so .. yeah. Among my friends, the word SLIM has a silent positive connotation of being slim but healthy. Friends always say that I am slim and they actually meant something positive - to be envied but when they commented someone as THIN, it meant somebody has to keep their diet in check. ahhh ... this is off topic, but thanks for your sharing your views. | XFYDQ aka Happiness Is Definitely Strong, although not out yet, there is a buzz to make this a 3-quel or a trilogy...waahh this China TV station really likes MD. As I was reading this, it came to my mind the video appearance he made in Happy Camp where they are featuring QE and Ethan Ruan for the promotion of EFHL. I remember very well what MD said to QE not to forget her brother when she is very famous. Now, the tables have turn. It seems that MD has more dramas than QE. Let's face it, China market is better than Taiwan market.
I am a QE fan more than MD but this is the truth. When it comes to fan based, I think MD is way ahead than QE. Moreso, with dramas. Imagine, he is booked upto summer of next year...wow...if it rains, it pours. Setback only -- he is far away from his family...but not from QE!!! hehehehe |

| White, I think there is a reason for MD's current success, I think we had this same discussion in the QE Profiles...its his slow, deliberate, manner and his luck and taking chances when he needed to or perhaps had to...going to China skipping Next Station Happiness aka Autumn Concerto, the No on FTLY, his personality in dealing with people and being with people. Yes, his sacrifice is being away from his close family, and friends. and yes, his good friend QE is for now within reach in China... |
