Thanks SYOBE for the summary. I saw gar6301 posting and asked my hubby what it means and he said that EFHL should end at ep15 no reason why prolonging it to ep17.

Cris, kamusta...well, ZZ is not really DF gf. He is just using her to get his revenge on her. DF heard YY asking ZZ if she has a hand in PD discovery of the plant coz how could PD knows the combinaton of the door. Although she denies it, YY doesn't believe her. And since DF heard it, he has device a plan for payback. Fast forward, ZZ thought that she won and DF is back with her. DF played the part so well. You will know that DF doesn't love her coz when he is in his room, he still remembers FA. He didn't even took out the pictures FA set up. So, in DF's heart, FA is still the queen. Now, in order to trap ZZ, DF has to play the part of her lover. I think she is the one who requested for DF to divorce FA. So, DF and ZZ went to se FA so that she can sign the papers. This is in ep16.

From what I gathered (meaning, from my hubby's rough translation of the dialogues -- well, i really has to drag him to watch on my laptop), DF is announcing that ZZ is her gf that is why she is, in a way, the lady boss. But he also announced to the media (second link) that although he has everything -- money, company-- he still feels /sad (lose the only thing he wants). And I think, he is giving up his position in the company. So, the press conference is really a slap on ZZ's face.

I really can't wait for tonight. I am looking for an excuse so that I do not have to attend a housewarming party, hehehe...oh, to all who are watching and following the drama, EFHL, enjoy...when this drama ends, I will not only miss QE but blue also...I now find him cute...hahaha...I was influenced by my 3 yr. old daughter...mwahahahaha

but i still havent strated watching ep from last week *sigh* although i love reading ur posts too..it kinda gave me some ideas and stuff..is it evil of me to watch ZZ suffer so bad? like maybe got run over by a lorry or something? Embarassed

i mean it is basically her fault (her evilness/greeediness) that FA's grandma died...for 'breakingup' FA and DF and a whole lot more...arrgghhh how i wish i could slap that b"*&% Mad

I think something is wrong with my laptop. I just typed the summary of ep16 and I do not know what what happened, it all disappeared and I was lead to the msn homepage..now, i have to remember what i typed and retype it again...

ok, a summary of ep16....

like what was shown in the preview, DF & ZZ went to FA's store for her to sign the divorce paper and also for DF to order some snacks for the press conference at his company the following day. FA signed the paper.

FA so sad that she went to have drinks with DJ. That's the part where you see him piggyback FA.

During the conference, FA accidentally met with ZZ & DF inside the elevator. ZZ said something to FA but she answers back.

DF announced that ZZ is the boss' girl. He also announced that he is resigning as the chairman of the company and the new chairman now is his aunt, YY's mom.

He also said that although he has the money and company, he still lacks something or he is not happy (remember only FA can make him smile). So, he is resigning and that angers ZZ and she left.

DF, without FA's knowledge, do a lot of things for FA to be happy. She learned about it when she met with the Village Chief. (You watch it when you have time, I will not give you details.)

DF also collaborated with the police to catch the poachers (who stole the medicinal plant/herb which led to FA grandma's death).

What else??? I will type again if I miss something. But that is all I can remember now...

thanks white for a summary of ep16, love you , muahhhh , and this week EFHL will be aired ep 17- the last ep , so sad i think and everyone think SET make EFHL has a crush ending cause the rating is not good nough, i hate SET , and i was a bit dissapoint cause qiaoen act in this drama and how the writer does not know how to develope the plot although they have Qiaoen a good actress, i hope the news after EFHL qiaoen will act in a chinese drama is true

Moon, I guess all of us share the same notion that the writers did not develop the script well. Also, I read that the producers are in conflict with each other; hence the early demise of the drama. It is really a waste of acting talent. QE is a very good actress and Blue is very good too. I just hope they will patch everything well in ep17 and not keep us hanging.

If I were QE, even if I was paid very well for this drama, this is one drama I am not proud of. It passes us like a wind. So sudden but no impact. A real waste of talents.

Eggy, PTF & FTLY is way much better than EFHL. The story of the drama lacks meat...have a slow start and a fast ending. If you can download in youtube, do that. I do not think it is worth buying the DVD. Although QEs acting is good, her portrayal as XinYi in EFHL is much much better.

Based on the ratings, it didn't went up to 5. It is ok to watch esp. if you are a QE fan. But don't expect too much. BLue Lan is handsome though...there are crying moments in the drama but not as much as FTLY. EFHL is better than In love with a Rich girl or Rock Paper Scissor.

But I still recommend you to watch it. It has a different magic touch. You will still fall in love with Da Feng and Fu An but I still feel that they should have developed the story more.

Looks like the drama is OK to watch but will leave a bit regret or disappointment about the story line. Right? Anyway, as I can see RPS and In love with a rich girl and I sometimes think ILWARG is interesting,I guess I may like EFHL as well. ^_^ Still waiting for d-addict to post all the subbed eps. You can go to viikii.net if you want to watch EFHL with subs but do it during off-peak times since they are hooked up with Youtube and most of the times, youtube doesn't allow viikii usesr to download the drama.

Happy Watching!!! EFHL is a nice drama but do not expect too much from it. There is a story but the writers should have tackle it more deeply.

Does anyone notice that the song Fu An sang in the Family Festival Day is the song that Dang Oh played on piano for Tian Yu in PTF?? I've just watched that eps yesterday and realized that. Makes me miss PTF again Crying or Very sad

Oh. You mean Wo De Jia Ting Zhen Ke Ai (My Cute Family), that one?

It's a bit like nursery rhymes in Taiwan, so its pretty common. (: Sweet though. We should have a rerun of PTF.
