I dont think J-star will "freeze" QE without a good reason, but you are right, since she is a big star now, they wont freeze for some petty reason.... and i agree, the reason QE gave, if the article is to be believed, it is a lame excuse... |

I wouldnt gloss your concerns over OB,[b] it is a real possibility. If QE is still in the agency they can request it (to work together) if they choose. They will have more power and control, being the #1 male and female stars for their present agency...
In the last years, they brought out MingEn sparingly every 2 yrs... not a bad business strategy, really, since both famous... QE thru PTF and FTLY and MD for PTF and going to Mainland... however, mixed feeling if Ming+en fan... If QE left, she would be under her new company's rules.. and they, the new gency, have control then. I assume if the part fits and the parties agree, then the cast is decided upon - then chance of MD and QE working together again could happen..
Perhaps it is the TV studios who decide...Sanlih is not really a favorite of MD's... I don't know about QE. Regarding the China entertainment, they like MD and QE, so they would jump at the chance to pair with the right scripts ..
But again, it will depend on the/their agencies, assuming one will no longer be in the same agency... I dont think MingEn will be a forbidden pairing, but it will not be promoted more - common sense says, because, they will be, if the media's speculations are right, be in different agencies...
The one losing out will be MingEn fans...since no more Ming+En. Fans will still see them but Ahh, at least not in the same sense we have seen or enjoyed in the past. This is the sad reality.. You may see Ming or En in the same drama, but not as the stars of the show/drama or one stars and the other gets a supporting role...
Regarding the rest of the translation... i dont see any "guilting" by SDR regarding this ploy the QEAF thread seems to think. in so far as, the article above and the translation... I happen to think they are very biased with this, oops there i go with my mouth again...
I think, and of course solely my opinon that:
1) SDR cares more than he says, IF this was his statment in the above article...who wouldnt when your 10yr talent is thinking of leaving...
2) QE has not really talked about her contract, so no news is her news- unless a press conf. is set up like she did to comment on Roy Chiu. that did address if she did in fact "go out with him" is now not going to, or at least do this under papparzzi radar...
3) MD will most likely stay... he has an ok relationship with J-star and he doesnt seem to like to be bothered with the details of "employment", rather he focuses on his acting. If he asks for it , he will get whatever he wants..
4) And just to throw in more speculation and controversey will her staying or leaving affect Ming+En offscreen..if they are not an item now, it could put more distance... they at least now see each other once a yr @ company event or when summoned. some say, they could now freely date way from the Agency.. when? logistics? will have to deal with 2 differing agencies if thats the case....
5) Will either one leave or stay because of , or for the other...maybe, that might be the shocker, that no one sees...

| I agree with Eggroll's observation. Sometimes I wonder if we are just too biased for wanting them to be together??? I mean, there could be a thousand or so reasons that QE wanted to change agency but not because of MD, dating and having a relationship with MD, that is. I feel whether she stays with JS or go to another agency, she will, even defying her boss, have a relationship with MD if she really wants to. She is so secured right now and knows what she wants in life. Oh, but in the end, I still hope that it is one of the reasons...hehehe |

WHITE, i agree with most of what you said, however, i disagree with the slant on biased, after all, this is MingEn Palace.. we are biased on them, nautrally, after all 90% of this place is about them..LOL and i also think if she stays with the Agency, it is, or could be about Love or a relationship. If she leaves, the decision it is purely about money, and opportunity..as suggested by another nameless thread. they fervently believe this, and for once, i happen to agree (amazing). that being said...i still firmly believe these 2 belong together, fit each other, and have grown to have more and more similar thoughts. it will take a journey , perhaps, and hopefully, not too long of one, for those 2, for MD to not hold back and look up once in awhile.. and especially for QE, to see what treasure has been beside her all along. this fairly tale has no current definitive ending and as long as there is no committment to another, there is hope. Mingen fans are experts on hope, and faith, and patience. |

Waaah , White agrees with me, twice no less! Hello fellow court-jester! LOL I dont know all the soap-operatic details of J-star, SDR or even CQE. But to be "frozen" or stopped from working is a serious matter and something serious must have happened. In Business, owners/shareholder dont want anything to bring down the ability to make money or do business for self, company or other dependent staff/artist as well.
I'm sure it was a painful experience for QE to have been in and it has left a lasting impression, as do most painful lesson given or received.
This being said..for all the news in the above article to be truly believeable, it will have to come from the filly's mouth..LOOL .QE will have to do a press conference on this herself... |

I guess we have to wait till she finished filming Jia Ru Meng. I do not think it is nice to announce in the middle of filming that you are switching management. It is not good for the actress's image and also for the rating.
So, again, wait and see. |

White I agree with you on this. Add to this poor QE is now sick while filming this drama. That means she is under stress or stressing herself out and not taking care of self, low reisistence to germs and weather..it's wait and see, something Ming+En fans are very good at. |
