| a prince, a pauper,an angel, a hair dresser, a painter, hotelier, a business man, soon hopefully, a gangster LOL the many roles of MD. another king of adventure series would be ok, even more singing (he's improved) and dancing (wants to improve) |

| Glad that a lot of offers are going his way...wondering why there is no movie offer?? Is the gangster a drama or movie? Ethan is already making a movie...why not MD??? When it comes to acting, MD can surpass Ethan's acting. |

Hi White5571. MD rolls his 1st movie out end of 09 or 2010, thru China, called Life of Sentiment, he plays a painter, who paints nudes, and falls in love with his model.
The gangster role is thru a drama, a China-Japan production. Yes, MD has great acting ability, his opportunities are not as high profile as Ethan Ruan's but he is slowly catching up. MD is a deliberate kind of guy, he should care about money, but sometimes he cares alot more about the roles he plays. That's the actor, the artist. I personally think so and deliberate is the best way. We could go on and on about QE and MD's management but then that would be another whole topic. |

I heard of the Painter role but never thought it is a movie...well, his next drama is a collaboration of japan and china...wow, MD is now going places...
What do you mean when you say his opportunities are not as high profile as Ethan? Surely, he acts better than Ethan. I still think its the management company that has handling problem. Look at Ethan's company, he is well taken care of. |

[b]hi white, yep , that painter role was /isthe upcoming movie MD will be in. he had to paint a nude, that meant his female co-star was really nude. there was buzz about that, at first people thought maybe he was going to be nude! and the second para, you answered your own question. must be tired, LOL that's the point, Ethan's company takes care of Ethan. J-star is lot more old fashioned - MD works for them instead of the other way around. A talent agency should be working for him, another thing different from East to West. In the West - If I was to use an agency, they are in effect working for me, trying to get me "employed" with gigs, events, films etc...in the East , its like you are working for them, as a employee, like working for McDonalds, or a bank, of an office and you get a salary. |

| Yes. An agency is like your employee. They look for work that will fit you and they get a commission when the deal has been signed. It is not the end all be all thing. MD should look at how Ethan's agency is handling him so that he can compare. MD should demand from his so-called agency. They should have freedom. The agency should guide them to become a big star and not hinder them. |

the asian entertainment industry doesnt run the same way as in the west. at some point in growing your career, you either as an artist in the "stable" of the agency, you get more creative control or freedom or you walk away to another agency. it seems to me if either or both are staying past the contract, they must have freedom to choose - projects, or events, or endorsements if they come along. Catwalk (ethan's) is known to be a talent and modeling agency. |

If you asked me, I think this turnaround is more to forget QE...I do not know, I just have this feeling that whatever love they have for each other is over...period. Somehow, after reading the translations on their interviews, I feel disheartened. I really do not know why I suddenly feel this way...but that is my hunch. I think it is over for the two. They are still the best of friends but not lovers. Sorry to disappoint the readers...that is MY opinion. |

Hello WHITE5571, sorry for not posting - back from a cold i got over the week's end. Yikes, more news out on these 2, Are you sure you wanna stick to the above position? Ming+En have more romance lives than a cat (9 lives, no pun intended) LOL
If you are truly MingEn fan, you cannot be forever disappointed or depressed. or angry. MINGEN FANS ARE PATIENT, and POSITIVE, and LOYAL TO BOTH. you have to be - since there are less collaborations/drams, less time together, and we get yelled at by both sides at times for being in fantasyland. Its ok about how you feel, - Mingen accepts all opinions so you are entitled.
But MingEn-ers are patient, generous and kind to each other and we get rewarded by Ah Ming and En - with their own words, videos, pictures, and print articles - about how they feel about each other.

Hmm since this was from July 2009...
White, do you still feel the same way?
I think MD has not changed his core basics.....
No changes to his management
No changes to his basic personality
No changes to his workaholic dedication to acting artistry
The only changes is that he is even more popular, has taken on different roles and probably has become more financially well off and changed his wardrobe when he went to milan and paris...
I dont think so, i disagree that the changes have anything to do with QE..
I think QE has done all the changes..
Changes in her personality and ups and downs in her blog
for at least half a year
Changed her boyfriend YKW, possibly taking on another..YKW2.
Changes in her management possibly
Changes in her appearance and style
I think its QE who's trying to forget or trying to find herself ..going thru these changes. Lin Ming Dao is steady as it comes. I think 2010 will be his year. With or without QE.. I hope it is with... |

Eggroll, glad to see your post...after reading what I have posted a few months ago, well, I do not feel that way anymore.
I know there is still hope for their love to grow. I know they are best of friends...but, as to their romantic relationship, there is a possibility but that they are but there is still a possibility that they are not. It is hard to tell what is on their mind and heart. Lately, they have been giving clues about love but one can not exactly pinpoint who is the other one referring too...although in QE"s interview with Strait Times, her reply about love is similar to MD. So, have they been communicating lately, maybe for QE to be influenced by MD. Well, I hope they are talking more often. Like the fund raising event after the storm, I think, all of us got the shock of our life when they contributed/donated together...they never cease to surprise us fans...so, the story keeps on revolving and I guess, like what you posted before, until one is married to someone else, there is still no ending to their story. Even if they are married, there is still divorce in taiwan, so, until their last breath, there is still hope for the two to be together. |
